Practical advice on employee performance improvement

I commend to all employers and HR professionals a very good article by  John McLachlan, Esq. of Fisher & Phillips.  Mr. McLachlan advocates (and I endorse!) approaching employe performance issues as a matter of mutual responsibility, requring the employee to collaborate in coming up with proposed solutions.  Try his sugested method, and see if you agree.
